One-third of practices fail at feedback: a patient review report

We asked 200 healthcare professionals about the volume, frequency, and quality of their patient reviews. Their answers might surprise you.

In a recent PatientPop industry survey, 80.3 percent of respondents — physicians, dentists, practice managers, and practice marketers — said maintaining a strong online reputation was very or extremely important to their practice. It’s been proven that a rock-solid reputation puts any practice at a competitive advantage in their market, but it requires something that’s not easy to obtain: a firm foundation of patient reviews.

To better understand how providers are tackling the patient review challenge, we asked a series of questions about reviews within our survey. The results reveal a majority of practices are doing little or nothing to obtain patient feedback, and that opportunities exist for practices to step in, master online reputation, and attract and acquire patients at an unprecedented rate.
