One of my favorite things about PatientPop People is that we love to celebrate EVERYTHING. If there is a holiday or event that we can integrate into our work day, you can probably bet we recognize it. That’s part of the fun in creating our office culture, it can be the biggest or littlest things, like giving everyone a donut, that makes PatientPop a sweet place to work.
When National Donut Day happened on June 2nd, it just gave us another opportunity to reward our employees. Not to mention, it was an appreciated break from our full stock of organic and healthy snacks in the kitchen.

We teamed up with DK Donuts and Sidecar Donuts to provide them to every employee as they headed into the office. It was a fun and expected treat that nobody could resist.
Melissa, office manager and donut-lover simply put it: “Donuts make everyone happy, duh.”

Fun Fact: National Doughnut Day started in 1938 as a fund raiser for The Salvation Army in Chicago. Their goal was to help those in need during the Great Depression and honor The Salvation Army "Lassies" of World War I, who served doughnuts to soldiers.
