We’ve started a new tradition on the PatientPop Technology Team – game night! The idea came from one our engineers because he thought it would be a fun way for everyone to get together once a month and have fun. It started initially within the tech department but now they host a different team to join them every month.
Game night consists of a mix of video games and board games, so there really is something for everyone. Mortal Kombat and Mario Kart seem to be the most popular video games and Codenames is a favorite of the board games. Everyone is invited to bring their own games, so it’s always fun to try the new games that different employees love.
By inviting a different team every month, the tech team has the opportunity to get to know so many of our other employees across the organization. Often times employees will have worked together on projects but haven’t spent time together outside of those initiatives. Thanks to game night, they all get to know each other on a more personal level.
