In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the PatientPop Women’s Resource Group did a “takeover” of Coffee Club, a monthly event designed to help employees from across the company to get to know each other.
Coffee Club attendees are assigned to random groups and are provided with discussion questions to spark conversation — in addition to coffee, of course! For the October Coffee Club gathering, the Women’s Resource Group provided questions about inspirational females in history, the best advice from mentors, and what we admire about our female PatientPop leaders.
In addition to the typical catered coffee, the Women’s Resource Group held a bake sale with homemade goodies baked by more than 20 employees, the proceeds of which were promised to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The bake sale included everything from chocolate pumpkin muffins to individual vanilla creme brulee cups.

Coffee Club attendees — as well as other employees — came throughout the day to grab a treat or to offer a donation. By the end of the day, the Women’s Resource Group raised $615 for breast cancer awareness.
