SANTA MONICA, Calif.–PatientPop, maker of an all-in-one practice growth software for healthcare providers, is strategically expanding its marketing team with key industry leader hires Terry Welty, Joel Headley, and Sean Harris. In a push toward aggressive revenue growth, the organization is focusing on bringing on best-in-class experts in three areas — marketing leadership, local search, and healthcare data.
SVP of Marketing Terry Welty joined PatientPop in May 2017, bringing more than 20 years experience leading high-performance marketing teams to drive aggressive revenue growth. He comes to PatientPop from Quorom, where he acted as CMO. His resume includes executive roles at Smarsh, DuoSecurity, and Quark, as well as five successful exits. Welty holds an MBA from Baylor University.
Director of Local SEO and Marketing Joel Headley joined PatientPop in January 2017 to lead local search optimization efforts. Prior to PatientPop, Headley spent more than a decade at Google, where he led continuous platform improvement and implemented educational initiatives for users to understand the evolving field of local search. He is on the faculty of Local U, an organization bringing together the best minds in the space to teach business owners how to thrive online.
Head of Data and Analytics Sean Harris brings 10 years of rich digital health experience to PatientPop. In his previous role at Doximity, he built the largest network of providers — a membership of 600K+ physicians. Harris started his professional career at Epocrates, the leading medical software to reference drug dosing and interactions.
PatientPop intends to remain the leader in the practice growth space, and bringing on these marketing leaders is a strategic move toward dominating the vertical in 2017 and beyond.
